These gloves are the cream of the Hayabusa crop. They have the unrivaled wrist support of Hayabusa without the characteristic stiffness that makes for poor bag work feedback and annoyed sparring partners. The leather is top notch like it is in the T3 LX however the padding is much better and less stiff, and very similar in feel to Cleto Reyes. In fact they feel more like Cleto Reyes than any other Hayabusa glove, with the main differences being 1) smaller finger pocket (“Japanese” style) and 2) the usual hayabusa wrist support. This is consistent across all sizes, from 10-16 oz. If you have big hands, this may not fit you and you may be better off w Cleto Reyes. I have small hands and they fit very snug. They fit as expected. However, when you hit the bag you don’t feel anything and that’s not a good thing. Also, the double strap system in their MMA gloves are perfect but here it just becomes a hassle. It’s impossible to put these gloves on by yourself properly. Which is the primary reason people choose straps over laces. They keep you wrist secure but what else? Not much in my opinion. On a scale of 1-10 I’d give this product a 5.5. While I’d give their MMA gloves a 11 on that same scale. Honestly, I don’t even use these and for $160+ purchase price that sucks.Great feel and support, haven't had a bad Hayabusa product yet.Bought these for my daughter, I have Reyes gloves. For the comparison I can honestly say these gloves are well made of excellent materials and solid stitching. The durability aspects will need more time, but out of the package they are well built and as promoted on Amazon. If I were new to boxing and wanted a good glove, with good support, these would fit the bill nicely. However they are pricey, but again you get what you pay for.Starting off any combat sport with poor equipment leads to injuries and less then enjoyable experiences. These gloves have enough room inside for supportive hand wraps, as well as the fastening system designed into the gloves. Snug, tight, and comfortable around the wrist. A little warm after some time from what my daughter has said, but overall enjoyable. No bruising and rubbing, or sore wrist, fingers, or knuckles. The additional stiffened support on the back of the glove is also a great design feature. The only negatives were the somewhat high price and one of the gloves has a slight blemish across one of the gloves out of the box. Not a deal breaker, but my daughter noticed the craftsmanship hit, so the 4-stars for that.On that note, I’d buy these again. My daughter loves them. ??Bought it for my wife, she is seasoned Muai Thai fighter, 2X world champion. She loves them.Learn from my mistake. I bought into the hype and "features" of these gloves. I saw the positive reviews on YouTube and blogs only to find out they were affiliates of Hayabusa. Then I started to do some more in depth research and turns out most serious boxers/mma have nothing good to say about these gloves...and yes, I experienced most of those warnings.First off, these were the only gloves that I have ever experienced any knuckle pain and soreness from. I tried wrapping my hands with more protection, even used the winning gel knuckle gaurds with the wraps (helped a little bit). But at the end of the day the shock absorbing ability of these gloves are terrible. I own 3 other pairs of gloves of the same size I can compare to. (Winning, Fairtex, Cleto Reyes) You literally feel the impact of every punch you throw with these gloves, which then transfers directly into your hands and joints.Second, although the double wrist strap and "splinted support" does offer a little more wrist support (I'm being very generous when I say "little," I barley noticed a difference compared traditional single strap gloves), it positions your arm in an awkward angle. They claim it helps "align your hands with each strike" but it's actually the complete opposite. The only good thing I can say about these gloves are they look cool, but that's subjective.I understand why this brand has a negative reputation amongst serious and experienced fighters. To sum it up, I really tried to use these gloves. I gave it a month of training 4 times a week with loads of heavy bag and pad work but the experience just got worse and worse. The gloves are literally underneath a pile of clothes in my closet now. Every glove I own even ones less than half the price are better in every way.I have a friend that wants to start training muay thai and I don't want to even give these gloves to him for free because it's that bad, especially for a beginner. Here's my advice, if you are looking at these gloves and willing to spend close to $200 for a pair this is what I would do.1) Save your money. Depending on what you train, for example muay thai, purchase a pair of fairtex, twins, windy, literally any thai company for close to 1/3 the price. That way you can buy 2 pairs of different sizes. If your a boxer look into the Ring to Cage C-17 for half the price.2) If you want something in the similar price range and that actually offers protection look into rival (they have cool looking designs and actually offer great gloves with models around the same price) I've tried their rs100...and way better.Have never wrote a review this long before but I was really undwhelmed with these gloves especially for the price. But that's on me, should have done more research. Just wanted to let you guys know that there are plenty of better options available at around the same price or even half the price.First of all I pretty much only buy Hayabusa gloves. Over the past decade I have owned about 6 or 7 pairs. I always just buy their best glove because your hands are important and protecting them is very important. Weird thing with this pair or style is they are not breaking in well. Stiffer than past gloves. Maybe they just take longer to break in? I'm a big guy, hit hard, and they should be getting more broken in after a few months but they are not. Still protect my hands still a good glove they just are not as soft and since I have small hands making a good fist just takes more work.Absolutely great wrist support. High quality gloves.I waited before submitting this review as I wanted time to break them in and fully test them out. My verdict is that these are simply the best gloves I've ever owned, and by some margin. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is second to none and they have not skimped in any area. The outside leather and stitching is of the highest quality, durable and looks awesome. The inside fabric, is also high quality, doesn't feel flimsy or as though it might tear as you put your gloves on. The padding is perfect, substantial yet light, your hand feels fully protected and it doesn't move around the glove. The double velcro loop fasteners are a fantastic piece of design. Far from a gimmick, they give amazing wrist support like no other glove does. Along with the design and construction of the glove, they support your whole hand and wrist so you can blast the pads and heavy bags all you want. Finally, like most Hayabusa products, they look cool without having too much flashy branding. Expensive, but as they say, you get what you pay for. These gloves are great. They feel like plush inside, and I don't worry about my wrists hyperextending because of a lack of support. There are three panels of support for the wrist, so they are a very robust set of gloves.I watched a review of an older model of these gloves, and the guy's gloves were worn down to the foam after a long period of use... I can tell you with certainty that this is not his "punching style" as he opined. When you take the gloves off, you have two straps to take off, the first big leather strap which forces you to rub the glove against some velcro, then the second which is sitting on velcro and has velcro on it's back side. So the gloves are great, I would just suggest getting someone else to take them off for you, or using your teeth to pull the straps off (and washing afterward). The colour is a nice black leather, and the leather looks and feels like it is of good quality.Right from the start, I noticed that the hand compartment fits really well, and I could box for a while in these. My hands are 7" from palm to tip of middle finger, and 3.5" wide (knuckle to knuckle), I am 6'1", and weight approx. 178lbs, and the 16 oz. gloves work very well for me.You figure out how tight you want the straps to be quickly, so there isn't much to complain about.Biggest issue with the gloves is just how you put them on and take them off, with the straps being entirely velcro, and the leather part rubbing against the velcro, I can see wear happening faster than I would like, but I just use my teeth to pull the strap off.Very happy with these gloves. Great support, padding, and look. Only downfall is that my hands get more sweaty than my all leather fairtex.El producto llego mas rapido de lo previsto, llego en excelentes condiciones, llevo unas semanas con el y se siente de muy buena calidad echo de muy buenos materiales, en un año actualizare esta reseña para ver su durabilidad, por lo mientras le doy 5 estrellas.Solid wrist protection without wraps, i have skinny wrists and these hold your hand very well
