Yes, these KLIM Hardanger HTD Gauntlet heated gloves have a stupid model name. Yes they are very pricey, however as winter has begun here. So riding yesterday, absolutely clear skies, however the temp was below freezing, approx 27F (-3C) and on the highway @ 70mph. Well its very cold. With my new KLIM Hardanger HTD gloves on, my hands were very toasting and warm, my hand tend to get cold below 58F ambient temp.I love these gloves, except for the touch screen capability, I've yet to be able to use the touchscreen on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with these gloves on. But thats OK, I control the song & volume via my Sena, and can hear Google map navigation just fine... and honestly, thats good since, I don't want to talk on the phone anyways when riding. It would be interesting if they had made them finger tip flip, but thats OK.I suspect now, I will be riding the nice cold sunny days now more than I ever have. Thank you KLIM, and I highly recommend them, and would buy them again.nd pvery ricey, however worth every cent! The construction of the gloves is very high quality. My issue is with the heating elements. They seem to only be on the backs of the hands and over the knuckles with nothing in the fingers. As a result, when set to high, a small spot on the back of your hands gets painfully hot but your fingers remain cold. When set to medium the back of your hands feel warm but your fingers are freezing. It's disappointing because, if the elements were better distributed, these gloves would be fantastic.Good quality, great fit, and adequate warmth down to riding 60 mph at 20'F. Battery life is ok but not great. I ordered an extra set of batteries. Was able to get thru a 5 day trip with mostly below 40'F in Northern MNI really wanted these to work well for commuting in Chicago winters. But at highway speeds in low 20s my thumb and fingers got extremely cold. They were just ok on high in the 30s, but only when going slow. Fit and finish was excellent…just lacked heating power.Look good, but fingers don’t get warm enough, my fingers were cold in 40• weather during 40 min ride. Very disappointedThe good: Gloves are comfortable and warm. The bad: Velcro failed after one season of wear. (Would no longer stick.) I'd expect more from a glove at this price point.I was really concerned about spending this much money on some gloves, but my hands were always cold during winter riding. These gloves are great.Like the other reviewers have said, you probably want some more batteries if you are going to be out for more than an hour. That's about how long the batteries last. Even with no batteries they are still warm, but with good batteries it's really nice.I just got these today, have not had a chance to ride with them yet.The fit and finish of the gloves is top notch. I bought large, and my hand measures 8.75 inches circumference. They fit perfectly. With the batteries inserted, I cannot feel any added bulk. Just feels like a normal pair of long gloves. The cuffs easily fit outside of my jacket, the batteries dont take up too much space. The batteries fit snugly in the little pockets, which have velcro closures. Batteries are listed as 2000mah / 7.4V / 14.8Wh .The palm is only lightly insulated, which makes them not feel super bulky when working the motorcycle controls. The inside of the gloves have a soft fleece-like feel to them. The back-hand has a good amount of insulation. Not too thick, not too thin.On high heat they get uncomfortably warm when wearing in the house. On medium they feel just slightly warm, and on low you can barely feel the heat (but you can feel it). I think they will work very well for the mild winters I ride in (lows of 40F). I dont think I will ever need the high-heat setting.I am guessing that even with the heat off they would be good down to 45-50F or so.Looking forward to trying them out on the bike.
