Decades ago I discovered Clincher waterski gloves that uses this dowel, strap, and design that transfers the load from your fingers and forearms to the wrist. Went through multiple pairs of them and then they disappeared for a while, after which I discovered these MasterLine gloves that are the exact same design. I go through a pair about every 2 seasons but they make skiing and wakeboarding so much easier. As long as they keep making them I'll always have a pair.
