OUTDOOR RESEARCH: We built a company from a feeling: the urge to get out. It's what drives us. Our tribe is devoted to exploring our outdoor passions and challenging ourselves in the mountains, water, and deserts of the planet we love so much.
This is my second pair of Outdoor Research winter gloves. In the past I have struggled to find a pair of gloves that kept my hands warm in sub 20 degree days. What I love about these is that they come equipped with a liner that adds an additional level of insulation. The liner is removable and could be worn separately or outside the shell on warmer days. I love the lobster claw design. Having at least my index finger helps control the dogs leash, or start the blower. I’ve had these for a few days and we’ve had a few sub 20 degree days and these have held their warmth. $100 is a lot to spend on gloves to walk the dogs and shovel the driveway, these are worth every penny.I've been biking and skiing in the frigid temperatures of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for many years. No matter how much money I spent on gloves, My hands would get cold after an hour. I did my research, and did not buy the most expensive pair, and I'm glad I didn't. My outdoor research crab mittens kept me warm 2 days ago when the temperature was 3° and the wind chill was minus 15°. I was out in that weather for 3 hours and my hands stayed warm. And absolutely great mitten, especially for the price.seem to be well madekeep my little fingers warm, they were frostbitten so need the 3 finger approach to keep warmThese are the best gloves for your money. They are well constructed and durable. They cost a little more than your standard gloves. But they are well worth it and not that expensive. The only caution I can give, is to upsize. I normally wear a large and I got the extra large for a little more room. But they fit like a large with the liners in. With the liners out, they fit as I would expect an extra large to fit. But they fit just fine for me. I am very happy with them. The gloves arrived super fast and they fit great. A step up from my old Dakine gloves.Love the warmth and design of these gloves. They have a liner glove that fits inside the crab claw mitt. Used for snowboarding and winter camping.First gloves I've owned that have actually kept my hands warm. Yes, pointer finger does still get a little cold, but it's nice to have the dexterity. Liner gloves are really nice too. Wish it was easier to remove them, the velcro that holds the liner in place works really well.Quick delivery and accurate description of the product.
